I have been a long-time contributor to Joomla, dating back to the Mambo days. For most of Joomla’s existence, I held a leadership position, so pretty much anything good or bad about Joomla is partly my achievement or my fault. I’ve organized events all over the world, served as OSM President, and led the CMS Maintainers team.

Some weeks ago, I’ve stepped back from leadership and am now watching things from the sidelines to see how everything evolves.

In my professional life, I’m the CEO of BackupMonkey, and I run a software development and consulting company.
